Kathmandu—Prime Minister Sushila Karki has recommended five new ministers to the president for appointment.

After holding an intensive discussion within her group in the evening, she put forward the names of former Justice Anil Kumar Sinha, journalist Jagadish Kharel, Additional Secretary Dr. Sangita Mishra, scientist Mahabir Pun, and former State Restructuring Coordinator Dr. Madan Pariyar.

According to the President’s Office, the appointment and oath-taking of the recommended ministers will take place tomorrow. Presidential Press Advisor Kiran Pokharel said that since the names arrived late at night from the Prime Minister’s Office, the swearing-in could not be held today and will instead be conducted tomorrow.
