Kathmandu—The Neer Shah–starrer ‘Paran’ has become the highest-grossing Nepali film of the year 2082.
By 6 PM on its 21st day, the movie collected an impressive 126.6 million Nrs gross at the Cinepa Box Office, surpassing Anmol KC’s romantic drama ‘Jerry on Top,’ which stands at 121.4 million Nrs.
Directed by Deepak Acharya, ‘Kaku,’ ‘Paran’ is projected to cross the 140 million mark by this coming weekend. The strong projection is supported by its steady weekday earnings of 3 to 5 million NPR daily.
Thanks to powerful word-of-mouth, the film’s pace remains unstoppable, and preparations are underway for its international release.
