Kathmandu-IDF spokesperson Brig. Gen. Efi Defrin confirmed on Monday that Hamas will return only four deceased hostages this evening: Guy Eloz, Yossi Sharabi, Bipin Joshi, and Daniel Peretz.
The Hostage Families Forum called for the immediate suspension of Israel’s agreement with Hamas until all deceased hostages are returned. Initially, Hamas had agreed to release all hostages, both alive and temporarily.

According to the IDF, Sharabi and Peretz were killed on October 7, 2023. Bipin Joshi, a student from Nepal, was studying at Kibbutz Alumim. His family was informed of his death later.
The fate of Joshi among the four remains unclear. IDF and defense sources indicated that additional deceased hostages may not be found, though search efforts will continue.
