Kathmandu — The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has transferred 43 employees, including 12 undersecretaries and 31 branch officers. The decision, made on Tuesday, also assigns 13 employees as Chief Administrative Officers (CAOs) in various local governments.
Among the undersecretaries, 3 have been assigned to municipalities, while 10 branch officers have been posted as CAOs in rural municipalities.
Additionally, 19 other officials currently serving as CAOs at different local levels have been transferred to new positions.
The move aims to enhance administrative efficiency and ensure effective service delivery across Nepal’s local governments.
