Kathmandu – The price of gold in the Nepali market has set a new record. On the second day after the Dashain holidays, the price has continued to rise sharply, reaching an all-time high.
On the first day after the holidays, the price of gold and silver had jumped by NPR 7,600 in a single day. Today, it has increased by nearly NPR 3,000 more.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of gold today has reached NPR 233,100 per tola (approximately 11.66 grams). Yesterday, the price was NPR 230,600 per tola. This marks the highest price recorded to date.
Similarly, the price of silver has also increased. Yesterday, silver was priced at NPR 2,930 per tola, and today it has risen to NPR 2,960 per tola.
