Kathmandu — On Friday, the price of gold in the Nepali market dropped significantly after reaching a record high. Today, the price of gold has decreased by NPR 4,200 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmark gold is being traded at NPR 235,000 per tola on Friday. On Thursday, it was traded at NPR 239,200 per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has increased. Silver, which was traded at NPR 3,025 per tola on Thursday, is now being traded at NPR 3,085 per tola.
Today, the price of gold per 10 grams stands at NPR 201,475, while silver is being traded at NPR 2,645 per 10 grams.
