Kathmandu: The Nepal government has declared 45 individuals who died during the Jenji protests as martyrs.

The protests, held on 23rd and 24th Bhadra, demanded national interest, good governance, and anti-corruption measures. During these demonstrations, 45 people lost their lives across Kathmandu and other parts of the country.
Government spokesperson and Minister for Communications Jagdish Kharel confirmed that the state has officially recognized them as martyrs.
