Kathmandu — Gen Z movement leader Sudan Gurung met Prime Minister Sushila Karki on Tuesday afternoon at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Gurung inquired about the progress of the proposed agreement between the government and the Gen Z movement. He urged the government to quickly finalize the process, formally recognize the movement, and proceed with signing the agreement in the presence of the president.
Gurung also raised concerns over the arrest of several youths involved in the movement and the detention of some who were unable to pay bail. The meeting comes amid delays in finalizing the agreement, which was initially expected to be completed last week.
