Kathmandu. Nepali content creator Istu Karki, who previously made headlines for the controversial Maipokhari photoshoot, is back in the spotlight—this time for posting sexually suggestive Facebook statuses during the Nepal–Oman cricket match.
Karki, reportedly staying at a hotel in Chitwan, posted 27 updates throughout the match, at least four of which contained explicit double meanings. Many of the comments on her posts were similarly lewd or mocking.

Her posts started casual but became increasingly provocative as the night went on. The first controversial status read, “Hold me like a snake holds a frog! Don’t make me teach you.”
As reactions poured in, she followed up with another post—“Nandu, slowly!”—apparently referring to bowler Nandan Yadav. Later, she added, “Som’s dropping?” and concluded with, “Didn’t feel good enough.”
These posts are still visible on her Facebook timeline and have received hundreds of comments. One user wrote, “Were you watching cricket or celebrating your wedding night?”
Many have accused Karki of deliberately posting vulgar content to regain attention after fading from the limelight. Known for her bold image since the semi-nude Maipokhari photoshoot, her latest posts have once again stirred controversy online.
After her status went viral, she admitted that she had written words she found ambiguous. She believes this happened when he updated quickly. She has also claimed that every aspect of cricket is ambiguous.
