Indore, India — Two Australian players participating in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup were reportedly sexually harassed in Indore. The incident occurred near the Radisson Blu Hotel on Khajrana Road on Thursday at around 11 AM.

The players were walking toward a café, ‘The Neighborhood,’ when a man on a bike wearing a white shirt and a black cap followed them and suddenly touched one of the players inappropriately.
The players were frightened and immediately informed the Australian team security officer, Danny Simmons. A nearby passerby in a car also assisted by calling the police.
The incident has shocked authorities in both India and Australia. Based on Simmons’ complaint, the MIG police registered an FIR on Friday and have launched an investigation.
