After returning to Nepal following a two-and-a-half-month tour, Chauhan claimed that the organizer treated her and other artists like servants. She wrote on social media, “Artists were treated not with respect but like servants. Some felt imprisoned; others endured humiliation.”

In an interview, she said, “After repeated mental torture, I returned to Nepal without completing the remaining two shows. I had purchased my own tickets.” Chauhan also alleged that the organizer collected high ticket prices from audiences but paid only 20% to the artists.

She further claimed that proper accommodation was not provided. “He promised hotels but kept us in various houses throughout the tour. Not even 15 days in a hotel,” she said.

Chauhan added that Adhikari allegedly drank alcohol and interfered in her personal life, issuing threats like “I will block you in America,” causing her to break down multiple times.

Meanwhile, Binod Adhikari released a statement denying the allegations, claiming the tour was successfully conducted and “all responsibilities according to the agreements with artists were fulfilled.”
