Kathmandu – An earthquake measuring magnitude 4.0 struck Ramechhap’s Bhatauli area at 2:14 PM today. According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center. Tremors were felt in the surrounding regions, though no damage or casualties have been reported so far.

Residents described experiencing sudden shaking of houses and buildings, though the tremor lasted only a few seconds.
