Kathmandu — Durga Prasai, coordinator of the National, Cultural, and Citizen Protection Campaign, has called an emergency meeting, citing the deepening political crisis in the country.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Asoj 30, at 11 a.m. at Prasai’s residence in Bhaktapur. Through a Facebook post, Prasai stated that the country is currently facing one of the weakest periods in its history and an existential crisis.

He further commented that key institutions, including Singha Durbar, the Supreme Court, the judiciary, and administrative structures, are in disarray, weakening the morale of police, armed forces, and government officials. The emergency meeting has been called to make necessary political decisions in the interest of the country and its citizens.
District, provincial, and central coordinators, secretaries, and secretariat members have been urged to attend the meeting without fail.
