In Victoria, Australia, a tragic car crash claimed the lives of three Nepalis from the same family. The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday on the Eurambine-Stritham Road, about 200 kilometers west of Melbourne. Forty-one-year-old Krishna Bhandari, his 31-year-old wife Sapana, and their 3-year-old son Ruben died at the scene.
Their 5-year-old daughter survived the crash alone. The family car collided with a truck at the intersection of Mount William Road. The Nepali Consulate in Australia has informed relatives in Nepal. The Bhandari family had moved to Australia in 2017.
