Kathmandu — The government made several major decisions in Monday’s Cabinet meeting, which were made public by government spokesperson and Communications Minister Jagdish Kharel during a press briefing on Tuesday.
The Cabinet approved the Carbon Trading Regulation 2082, along with the Administrative and Financial Standards 2082 for conducting the National Economic Census.
The government also extended by 30 days the tenure of the committee formed to assess damages to public and private property during the protests of Bhadra 23 and 24 and to prepare a reconstruction plan.



Similarly, Bhupal Baral has been appointed as the chairperson of the Employees Provident Fund’s Board of Directors. The Cabinet also extended the tenure of three Assistant Lieutenant Generals of the Nepal Army and approved the resignation of one Major General.
