In a statement issued Friday, committee chair Dal Bahadur Khadka said they would join Sharma’s campaign to raise a strong voice against corruption, irregularities, and internal distortions. The committee accused Prachanda of ignoring crucial issues like internal investigation, property scrutiny, good governance, party reform, youth engagement, and timely conventions.

Khadka criticized the unity move as a political drama, accusing Prachanda of aligning with leaders involved in corruption and abandoning core Maoist ideology. The committee claimed that Prachanda had “left his own house in flames and moved into a new mansion,” prompting them to consider building a new party.

The committee has urged all Maoist leaders and cadres not to participate in Prachanda’s unity process.
