Nepali Communist Party leader Bhim Rawal’s speech at a unity message event in Pokhara left the audience laughing while delivering sharp criticism of KP Sharma Oli.
Rawal initially mentioned that UML would secure a majority in the upcoming election but later corrected himself, stating that it is the “Nepali Communist Party’s journey that cannot be stopped.” Much of his speech, however, targeted Oli, accusing him of arrogance and mismanagement that harmed the communist movement.
He labeled Oli a “worthless commander” and recounted how the prime minister allegedly fled during a crisis at Baluwatar, questioning his leadership.
Earlier, Madhav Nepal, who formed the CPN (Unified Socialist) after rebelling from UML in 2079 Baisakh, had also campaigned against UML in Lalitpur.
