Kathmandu- Despite recent arson and vandalism causing significant damage, Bhat-Bhateni supermarket owner Min Bahadur Gurung has expressed his determination to secure the future of his employees.

“I will fight for the future of my staff. Even if work is halted, I will ensure salaries are paid, not just for Bhadra but also Dashain bonuses,” Gurung said, emphasizing that he considers his employees as part of his family.

Preliminary estimates suggest losses could reach NPR 1.5 billion. Gurung plans to reopen some stores within three months and all stores within ten months.
