Consultancy Operator Arrested for Alleged Fraud in Promise to Send Youth to South Korea

Police have arrested 28-year-old Ganesh Pandey in Kathmandu for allegedly defrauding a woman by promising to send her son to South Korea.

Pandey, originally from Belkotgadhi Municipality-11, Nuwakot, operates New Safal Global Consultancy. The woman had sought help on social media after her son was allegedly left stranded for two years following the promise.

Following her appeal to the Prime Minister and Home Minister, police arrested Pandey from Ranibari, Kathmandu. Further investigation is underway.
