A Flydubai flight traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv was thrown into a dangerous situation after a violent incident between the two pilots in the cockpit caused the aircraft to lose control. As the plane rapidly descended, passengers and crew members intervened. The aircraft eventually made an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
Captain Smit Machchhar, despite being injured, managed to open the cockpit door. Passengers Yaniv Hayun, Assaf Rajwan, and Tzvika Manes then entered the cockpit and helped restrain the attacker. Dr. Shota Musayev treated the injured captain, while two off-duty pilots on board took control of the aircraft and helped land it safely.
Salute to these six heroes who played a vital role in helping save the lives of 174 people.
