The Cabinet has made six decisions covering health services, legal reforms, forest use, and senior-level appointments. It approved a $20.7 million US government grant for health service improvements and the use of national forest areas for development projects and security infrastructure.
The Cabinet also approved three bills for Parliament concerning slaughterhouses and meat inspection, federal civil service and disability rights.
Abha Shrestha Karn has been appointed Chief Secretary of Gandaki Province, while Dr. Jagadishwar Karmacharya has been appointed Secretary at the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation.
