In the U.S., payments were completed on the night of the 21st, and in India on the night of the 22nd. Normally, India and Nepal receive payments simultaneously, but Nepal’s transfer has been delayed.
Since April, Meta had imposed charges on many Nepali Facebook pages and accounts for “unauthentic engagement.” Some pages were later re‑monetized after Meta’s internal team found no issues at the end of last month. That means the earnings from earlier periods also need to be paid this month. Because a very large amount is due for Nepal this time, Meta’s audit team is conducting a thorough review. As a result, payments have not yet been released. Once the review is complete, payouts are expected to begin within the next few hours.
