A 47-year-old man, Krishna KC, has been arrested for allegedly asking people to deposit money into his bank account in the name of providing donations to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund for Bhotekoshi flood victims.
According to police, KC was arrested in Kalanki, Kathmandu, on September 2. The Kathmandu District Administration Office has granted seven days to investigate the case, police said.
