The UAE has announced $10 million (about Rs 1.53 billion) in immediate relief aid for people affected by floods in Nepal, making it the largest immediate financial contribution from an individual country.
The first direct relief flight has already delivered 83 tonnes of supplies, including food, temporary shelters, blankets, medical supplies, and hygiene materials.
The remaining funds will support relief operations, local supply purchases, and emergency distribution efforts in coordination with Nepali authorities.
