Kathmandu – In response to the crisis following the Bhotekoshi floods, India has deployed an 11-member medical and tunnel rescue team to Nepal. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar announced via social media that the team, which includes doctors, paramedics, and tunnel rescue specialists, will begin reconnaissance operations today (Saturday).
India has also sent its third consignment of relief materials, which includes portable generator sets, dignity kits, food packets, and water purification tablets. These supplies were formally handed over to Nepal’s Minister for Science, Technology, and Innovation, Mahabir Pun.
