Kathmandu – In the Nepali market, the price of gold has continued to rise for several days. On Sunday (August 23), the price of gold increased by NPR 2,800 per tola, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
With this rise, the price of hallmark gold has reached NPR 319,500 per tola. On Friday, gold had climbed by NPR 3,300 to NPR 316,700 per tola, while on Thursday it had surged by NPR 9,300 to NPR 313,400 per tola.
Meanwhile, silver, which had risen for two consecutive days, saw a slight decline on Sunday. Compared to Friday, silver dropped by NPR 10 per tola, settling at NPR 4,975. On Friday, silver had increased by NPR 130 to NPR 4,985 per tola, and on Thursday it had jumped by NPR 260 to NPR 4,855 per tola.
