Kathmandu – The price of gold in the local market surged sharply today. Compared to last Friday, the rate has increased by NPR 3,600 per tola. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmark gold is now trading at NPR 305,200 per tola.
On Friday, the price stood at NPR 301,600 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has risen to NPR 261,660 today, up from NPR 258,575 last Friday. Silver has also seen a rise, reaching NPR 4,710 per tola, an increase of NPR 50 from Friday’s NPR 4,660.
