Kathmandu – Senior journalist Kishor Shrestha has been arrested by police a short while ago. He was taken into custody from Kusunti, Lalitpur, according to high-level police sources. However, the reason behind his arrest has not yet been disclosed.
Recently, Shrestha had published a report with photos alleging private activities of a Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker with a young woman. The woman had reportedly filed a complaint at the Cyber Bureau. Whether his arrest is linked to that issue or another matter has not been clarified by police.
