Kathmandu – On Thursday, the price of gold surged by NPR 8,000 per tola in a single day. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers announced the new rate at NPR 296,000 per tola, compared to NPR 288,000 the previous day. Just last Thursday, the price had stood at NPR 284,000 per tola.
Silver also saw an increase of NPR 95 per tola. From NPR 4,475 the previous day, it climbed to NPR 4,570 today. Last Thursday, silver was priced at NPR 4,310 per tola.
