Kathmandu, June 10 — The Nepali gold market witnessed its steepest single-day fall to date. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold dropped sharply by Rs. 10,100 per tola, bringing the trading rate down to Rs. 291,800 per tola.
Silver also faced a significant decline, falling by Rs. 185 per tola, with the new trading price set at Rs. 4,740 per tola.
This marks one of the heaviest drops in precious metal prices in recent times, leaving traders and consumers equally surprised.
