Kathmandu – The price of gold and silver has increased in the local market today. Gold rose by Rs. 2,200 per tola, while silver increased by Rs. 85.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold today stands at Rs. 296,900 per tola, and silver at Rs. 4,960 per tola.
On Thursday, the price of hallmark gold was Rs. 294,700 per tola, and silver Rs. 4,875 per tola. On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs. 299,000 per tola, while silver was Rs. 5,025 per tola.
International media report that in the global market today, gold is being traded at USD 5,300 per ounce, and silver at USD 95 per ounce.
