Kathmandu — On Tuesday, the price of gold in the Nepali market rose sharply. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmark gold increased by NPR 6,700 per tola, reaching NPR 290,200.
On Monday, the price had been NPR 283,500 per tola. Similarly, silver also rose from NPR 4,700 per tola on Monday to NPR 4,845 per tola on Tuesday.
