Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya has said that a serious review of the House of Representatives election and a firm commitment to serving the public are essential at the present time. Speaking at a meeting organized in Butwal on Saturday by the Arghakhanchi–Rupandehi contact forum of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist), Acharya expressed this view. He also serves as a central committee member of the party. He emphasized the need for stronger mobilization of the party organization along with continuous evaluation and review to ensure that the party remains firmly aligned with the interests of the people.
According to Acharya, the public strongly aspires for development and prosperity, and he claimed that only UML leadership has the capacity to fulfill those expectations. He added that many significant achievements made by governments led by UML have not been adequately communicated to the public, highlighting the need to present those accomplishments more clearly.
