Prakash Kafle/Kathmandu. The central secretariat meeting of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) (UML) is scheduled to take place today. The meeting has been called to evaluate the recently concluded election held on 21 Falgun and to finalize the names of lawmakers to be selected under the proportional representation system.
According to central office secretary Bishnu Prasad Adhikari, preparations have been made to begin the meeting at 1:00 PM.
During the meeting, party leaders are expected to discuss the overall election performance and conduct a review of the results. The session will also focus on finalizing the list of members who will represent the party in the House of Representatives through the proportional system.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission Nepal has set a deadline for political parties to submit the names of their proportional representation candidates for the House of Representatives.
