Prakash Kafle/Kathmandu. Police have arrested a man on allegations of verbally abusing voters. According to authorities, 45-year-old Ravi Chudal was taken into custody from Kathmandu on Thursday after he allegedly used offensive and abusive language toward voters in Damak of Jhapa-5. Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Khadka from the Valley Investigation Office stated that an arrest warrant had already been issued against Chudal earlier for allegedly verbally abusing a female journalist.
Police said he has been detained for further investigation.
