Prakash Kafle/Kathmandu. The Supreme Court of Nepal has issued an interim order instructing the Credit Information Center not to keep the name of Kishori Sah on its blacklist. The directive was delivered by a single bench of Justice Sharanga Subedi while conducting a preliminary hearing on a writ petition filed by Sah. Earlier, the Election Commission Nepal had annulled Sah’s candidacy for the House of Representatives election from Dhanusha-1 after finding his name listed in the Credit Information Center’s blacklist. Sah had contested the election as a candidate from the Rastriya Swatantra Party.
After his candidacy was rejected, Sah approached the Supreme Court by filing a writ petition against the Credit Information Center and other concerned authorities. Following the initial hearing, the court issued an interim order directing that his name be removed from the blacklist for the time being.
