Prakash Kafle/Kathmandu. Govinda Panthi, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has won the House of Representatives election from Gulmi Constituency No. 2. He defeated CPN-UML candidate Gokarna Raj Bista by a narrow margin.
According to the final results, Panthi secured 16,967 votes, while his closest rival Bista received 16,406 votes. Panthi won the election by a margin of 561 votes.
Nepali Congress candidate Bhuvan Prasad Shrestha secured 14,434 votes in the same constituency.
