Prakash Kafle/Kathmandu. Around 60 percent of eligible voters participated in the House of Representatives election held on Thursday, according to the Election Commission. Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari shared the turnout figure during a press briefing on Thursday evening. He noted that voting was still underway in some areas.
Although the official polling time was scheduled to end at 5:00 PM, voters who had already entered polling centers before the deadline will still be allowed to cast their ballots.
