Prakash Kafle/Kathmandu. A tragic incident occurred in Bardiya as a six-year-old boy, Aditya Chaudhary, lost his life following a leopard attack. The young boy lived in Kalabanjar, Ward No. 10, Rajapur Municipality.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bapramesh Bista of the Bardiya District Police Office, the child was playing in his home’s courtyard when the leopard suddenly attacked, leaving him seriously injured. He was being rushed to Bardiya Hospital in Gulariya for treatment, but sadly, he died on route.
The body of the deceased has been secured at the hospital for further procedures.
