The Election Commission has called on eligible voters to participate actively in tomorrow’s polling and to ensure they carry proper identification, such as a Voter ID Card or Citizenship Certificate, while visiting polling stations. Voting will take place from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM at designated polling centers across the country. Authorities have urged citizens to make full use of their constitutional right and contribute to strengthening democracy through responsible participation.
According to the Election Commission, voters must carry at least one valid identification document. Acceptable documents include:
- Voter Identity Card
- Nepali Citizenship Certificate
- National Identity Card
- Passport
- Land Ownership Certificate with photograph
- Driving License
Voters are also advised to confirm in advance whether their names appear on the official voter list and to cast their ballots only at their assigned polling centers.
The Commission has emphasized peaceful, orderly, and disciplined participation, stating that every vote plays a vital role in shaping the nation’s democratic future.
Officials have assured that all necessary arrangements have been completed to ensure a smooth and secure voting process.
