Kathmandu – Police in Parsa have arrested three people with nine homemade bombs and a pig’s head. They were caught late last night carrying these items with the intention of inciting violence during the elections.
According to police, the suspects were preparing to throw the pig’s head into a mosque. A security source said, “They had bought a pig’s head from a shop, cut it into two pieces, and planned to throw it inside the mosque. Their aim was to provoke religious discord, but we prevented them from succeeding.”

Police also recovered nine plates of homemade bombs, wires, and other materials from them. Authorities reported that Manoj Chaudhary, a candidate from the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) in Parsa Constituency No. 2, was also arrested with suspicious items.
