Chitwan: The Nepal Layers Association has sharply increased the price of eggs, effective from today. The retail price of large eggs has been set at Rs 425 per crate, while medium eggs are priced at Rs 375.
The Association stated that the hike was due to increased production costs. The cost per egg is now Rs 19.12, compared to Rs 15 previously.
