Kathmandu: The National Examination Board has released the timetable for the Class 12 annual examinations. According to the Examination Control Office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, the exams for general, technical, and traditional streams (regular and partial students with registration numbers starting with 79, 80, 81, and 82) will begin on Baisakh 14, 2083.

The exams will be held from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and will run until Baisakh 27. Mandatory and elective subjects across different faculties and streams will be conducted on the scheduled dates and times.

The exams will start on Baisakh 14 with compulsory English (regular), followed by compulsory Nepali on Baisakh 15, and compulsory English (partial) and Social Studies (technical stream) on Baisakh 16. Similarly, subjects such as Mathematics, Accounting, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Education, Management, Humanities, and various technical subjects will be conducted as per the timetable.

Students are instructed to arrive at the exam center at least half an hour before the exam begins. Those arriving after 15 minutes of the start will not be allowed to participate, and no re-examination will be arranged for absentees.

The notice also states that exam centers cannot be changed, electronic devices such as mobile phones and smartwatches are prohibited, students must bring their own required materials, and Biology examinees must use the same answer sheet for both Botany and Zoology.

If a student has more than one subject scheduled on the same day, they must inform the provincial or branch office of the Board within 15 days of the notice publication. Additionally, foreign students studying optional English instead of compulsory Nepali must take the optional English exam on Baisakh 15.
