Kathmandu: The price of gold increased in the Nepali market on Sunday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold rose by NPR 9,500 per tola, reaching NPR 305,000 per tola.
On the previous trading day, Friday, hallmark gold was priced at NPR 291,000 per tola. Similarly, the price of silver also increased on Sunday. On Friday, silver was traded at NPR 4,710 per tola, which rose to NPR 5,010 per tola on Sunday, according to the Association.
As per the Association, on Sunday the price of gold per 10 grams stood at NPR 257,630, while silver per 10 grams was traded at NPR 4,295.
