Kathmandu – The price of gold and silver in the Nepali market set a historic record on Thursday. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold increased by NPR 20,500 per tola, reaching NPR 339,300 per tola.
On the previous trading day, Wednesday, the price of hallmark gold was NPR 318,800 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver also increased on Thursday. On Wednesday, silver was traded at NPR 7,300 per tola, while on Thursday it rose to NPR 7,505 per tola, according to the Association.

As per the Association, on Thursday the price of 10 grams of gold stood at NPR 290,895, and the price of 10 grams of silver was NPR 6,434.
