Kathmandu – On Monday, the prices of gold and silver set new records in the Nepali market. The price of gold increased by NPR 4,200 per tola, with the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers fixing the rate at NPR 282,000 per tola for the day. On the previous trading day, gold was traded at NPR 277,800 per tola.
Earlier, on Wednesday, gold had reached its highest record of NPR 278,000 per tola, which has now been surpassed.

Silver prices also set a new record. From NPR 5,625 per tola on the previous day, silver rose by NPR 185, reaching NPR 5,810 per tola on Monday. Previously, silver had hit a maximum record of NPR 6,655 per tola last Wednesday.
