Kathmandu. Krishala Ghising, former deputy chair of Doramba Sailung Rural Municipality, elected from the then Maoist Centre, has joined the Ujyalo Nepal Party. She entered the party on Sunday.

Elected in 2074, Ghising said she decided to leave the communist party, arguing that traditional political forces have failed to carry the spirit of the Gen-Z movement. Several former Maoist representatives from Ramechhap have already joined Ujyalo Nepal.
