Kathmandu. The interim cabinet formed after the Gen Z movement of Bhadau 23 and 24 has been expanded for the fifth time under the leadership of former Chief Justice Sushila Karki.

On the recommendation of Prime Minister Karki, President Ramchandra Paudel appointed former army officer Balananda Sharma as Minister for Foreign Affairs on Friday. With this expansion, the cabinet has grown to 15 members.
