Kathmandu. On Friday, the prices of gold and silver in the Nepali market set a new record. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, hallmark gold rose by NPR 1,800 per tola, reaching NPR 269,300. On the previous day, Thursday, gold was traded at NPR 267,500 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver also increased. On Thursday, silver was traded at NPR 4,400 per tola, while on Friday it climbed to NPR 4,565 per tola, the federation reported.
According to the federation, on Friday the price of gold per 10 grams stood at NPR 230,880, while silver per 10 grams was traded at NPR 3,914.
