Kathmandu—Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expanded her cabinet for the fourth time. On Friday, four newly appointed ministers took the oath of office and secrecy before President Ramchandra Paudel at a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace.

The new ministers include Kumar Ingam as Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, and Poverty Alleviation; Rajendra Singh Bhandari as Minister for Labor, Employment, and Social Security; Madhav Prasad Chaulagai as Minister for Forests and Environment; and Shraddha Shrestha as Minister for Women, Children, and Senior Citizens. With this expansion, the Karki-led government now has 14 members.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Speaker of the House of Representatives Devaraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal, Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut, senior government officials, heads of diplomatic missions, security personnel, and other constitutional leaders.
